Imagine it’s summer and you just got home with your horses. You’re hot, tired, and your horses are too; and now you have to struggle with your crank jack which is the last thing you want to do. In a nutshell, this story is very similar to how Stillwell Inc. began and why Drew Stillwell, founder and CEO of Stillwell Inc, decided, “there has to be a better way.”
After years of extensive research Drew and his team of experts developed the fastest hydraulic jack on the market. Add to that Drew’s love of horses and the Vaquero product lineup was born. Unlike other jacks out there, our jacks are made “for horsemen, by horsemen.” Drew’s family has a passion for horses dating all the way back to his great-grandfather who was an exercise driver for the famous racehorse and Minnesota native, Dan Patch. In the same way we’re passionate about our horses, we’re passionate about our products.

Every part of the Vaquero is thought through and designed specifically with the horseman in mind. The HPDE (High Density Poly Ethelene) power unit housing maximizes both aesthetics and functionality – boasting easy installation, durability, and a leather appearance that matches the quality of high end horse trailers.
The sleek and durable power unit housing comes with rounded edges that are safer for you and your horse. Because, let’s be honest, life happens, and horses can spook; you don’t want sharp, metal edges anywhere near your horse if you can help it, right?
Hydraulic power unit
Our hydraulic power units are designed with the most reliable materials in the market. Engineered to work in the most demanding conditions, the bi-rotational motor is the most efficient use of power and size. The HPU includes a manual override to overcome instances of low or dead batteries in the field.
With safety and comfort in mind, our jack’s pumps are also quieter than other jacks which is more pleasant on yours, and your horse’s, ears.
Atlas Hydraulic Trailer Jack
Our best-in-class jacks have a 26” stroke length, which is 2” more than other jacks. Add to that the increased battery life due to more efficient power usage with a fully enclosed system and you have a jack that is faster, and better optimized for longevity. Glass-filled nylon glide bearings: reduce friction, scraping, protect finish against rust, and provide stability through a tighter fit.
The Atlas Hydraulic Trailer Jack is manufactured from raw steel to a hydraulic jack at our facility in Burnsville, MN then sent to our facility in Cleburne, TX for final assembly and distribution. Making it a truly Made in America product.
